description The Google Classroom platform has become widely used in school and academic environments in recent years, as well as other types of virtual learning environments (VLE). Therefore, this study aims to identify the perception of teachers and students regarding Google Classroom as a tool to support face-to-face teaching in Accounting classes at a higher education institution. For this, it had a sample of 161 students and 20 teachers. This is a qualitative and quantitative research, carried out using two questionnaires, one for students and one for teachers, via Google Forms. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. According to them, students and teachers said they had high satisfaction with the Google Classroom platform, being of great help with face-to-face teaching, in addition to recommending it to other educational institutions, and other forms of learning, such as online and hybrid. This study contributed as an incentive for the adoption of digital information and communication technologies, even in face-to-face teaching, in order to increase proximity and communication between students and teachers outside the classroom, in addition to managing content and activities.

Por ello, este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar la percepción de docentes y estudiantes respecto a Google Classroom como herramienta de apoyo a la docencia presencial en clases de Contabilidad en una institución de educación superior. Para ello, se contó con una muestra de 161 estudiantes y 20 docentes. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa, realizada mediante dos cuestionarios, uno para estudiantes y otro para docentes, vía Google Forms. Los datos fueron analizados mediante estadística descriptiva. Según ellos, estudiantes y docentes manifestaron tener alta satisfacción con la plataforma Google Classroom, siendo de gran ayuda en la docencia presencial, además de recomendarla a otras instituciones educativas, y otras formas de aprendizaje, como la online e híbrida. Este estudio contribuyó como incentivo para la adopción de tecnologías digitales de información y comunicación, incluso en la docencia presencial, con el fin de incrementar la proximidad y comunicación entre estudiantes y docentes fuera del aula, además de gestionar contenidos y actividades.A plataforma do Google Classroom passou a ser muito utilizada no ambiente escolar e acadêmico nos últimos anos, assim como outros tipos de ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem (AVA). Dessa forma, esse estudo tem como objetivo identificar a percepção de professores e estudantes, a respeito do Google Classroom, como uma ferramenta de apoio ao ensino presencial, em turmas de Ciências Contábeis, de uma instituição de ensino superior. Para isso, contou com uma amostra de 161 alunos e 20 professores. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, sendo realizada por meio de dois questionários, um para os estudantes e outro para os professores, via Google Forms. Os dados foram analisados pela estatística descritiva. Segundo eles, os estudantes e professores afirmaram ter alta satisfação com a plataforma do Google Classroom, sendo de grande ajuda para com o ensino presencial, além de o recomendá-lo para outras instituições de ensino, e outras formas de aprendizagem, como online e híbrida.
