Sumario:The current study has the aim to discuss issues related to the utilization of legacies intangible, associated with social and educational contexts after the mega sporting events in Brazil. The herein presented discussions highlight the importance to have the Brazilian Government making coherent and responsible planning so that the Brazilian population can benefit from the legacies of these mega sporting events throughout time. Thus, investing in the social and educational contexts, especially when it comes to children and adolescents, is extremely important to broaden and consolidate the sports education, the Olympic values and to encourage the general population to adopt healthy habits.
