| Sumario: | With the evolution of the technology of information and communication, the Web is adding diversity of resources that can facilitate the development of some areas of the knowledge, because promotes the access and the use of information globalised, accessible and without borders. Discusses the semantic Web as a means of sharing information to adopt standards for interoperability to the communication in network. Among the concerns that surround the education area, are the strategies of search and information retrieval in a relevant and effective for the knowledge of construction and learning. In this context, is the Distance Education, which area can enjoy the resources of the Semantic Web and the advantages of using ontology, which will be presented in this article |
