Sumario:Blockchain technology has been shown to be innovative and disruptive, with increasing dissemination in both Brazil and the world. This article aims to study Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs), which are non-fungible certificates linked to a data chain in a blockchain network. The applicability of this technological solution has been evaluated in several areas of interest; thus, the research was conducted to analyze the use of this technology in intellectual property, especially in the field of copyright. The scientific articles were searched in the WEB OF SCIENCE and SCOPUS databases, through the CAPES Journals portal, and the patent prospection was through the QUESTEL Orbit Intelligence®. With the results achieved, it was possible to identify eight publications specific to the field of intellectual property being found, with the Tokenization area having the highest number of publications. With regard to patents, the prospection resulted in five patent applications filed, with the G06 – computing technology classification being the most prevalent.
