Descripción
Sumario:Purpose: The research is to verify the degree of agreement of the students regarding the feelings of guilt experienced in the stricto sensu postgraduate. Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out using a quantitative approach. The data was collected by means of both survey and the Aquino –Medeiros Multidimensional Culpability Scale (2009). The processing of the data was performed using Exploratory Factor Analysis along with Kruskal-Wallis (KW) test in order to verify the differences between the groups. Results: The results showed that exist differences in the distribution of Temporal Guilt, Subjective Guilt and Objective Guilt feelings. Most of interviewed students fully agreed with the feelings of guilt described in the Temporal Guilt Factor. Stricto sensu postgraduate students have a high demand for studies, research and extra activities that take up most of their time, so the temporal aspect ends up being one of their main concerns, triggering a sense of guilt. Contributions of the Study: This work helps to understand if students feel guilty about various everyday situations they have to face. In the future, it is possible to analyze whether the level of guilt interferes with academic performance, developing toxic attitudes in interpersonal relationships, among other behavioral factors.
