| Sumario: | Despite the advent of osseointegrated implants, fixed partial dentures remain to have a broad utility in the restorative arsenal of the dentists. However, modern day esthetic requirements causes metal-free prosthesis take the place once occupied in the past by the classic porcelain fused to metal FPDs. This way, several factors must be understood and assessed to plan the fabrication of an all-ceramic fixed partial denture. The purpose of this review article is to look at the factors that can determine success or failure of all-ceramic fixed partial dentures. |
