| Sumario: | Currently, the teaching and learning process is strongly influenced by the New Information and Communication Technologies (NICTs), which makes it a greater challenge for teachers to insert new educational tools into the classroom. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the use of the Quizlet platform in the teaching and learning process of the English language, more specifically to present the platform and its features, emphasizing learning modes, in addition to seeking new ways of teaching contextualized to reality. from the students. To this end, among the authors that supported this research we have Alvarez (2004), Rosa (2013) and Lopes (2012). The research is qualitative-quantitative, the locus being a language school located in the city of Macapá-AP, in which seven students and a teacher from the first level of English participated as subjects. Positive results were obtained at the end of the research, we can mention that 80% of the students considered the platform used as an excellent tool for teaching the English language.
