Descripción
Sumario:This article examines some relations established between the devotional experiences in the cyberspace, with emphasis on virtual altars and contemporary religious imagination, considering the new records of devotions and the introduction of new practices and rituals languages in the new spaces for devotional mediations; the feature of the devotional Christianity giving a face to faith and materiality as to establish roots where other religions were and the “vocation for the public”, typical of such devotions. The analysis of the set relation explicits the necessity to deepen the study of these combinations, aiming to better understand the dynamic and rich universe of religiosity which is produced in the cyberspace.
