| Sumario: | The experience of reading a literary text should come to life in French as a Foreign Language classes, assuming the students can overcome the linguistic barrier and enter into the pleasure of reading the text. We focus initially on the meaning of the term “literature” in the language class before proceeding to different models of reading. Our analysis resorts to “reader response” theory, which seems best suited today to promote the use of literature in French as a Foreign Language classes. |
