| Resumo: | The present article aims to establish a conceptual discourse link between the model of woman constant in the poem Adormecida (1870) of Castro Alves and the maintenance of the same in speeches as "Beautiful, restrain and domestic" and "No one else is able to indicate the imbalance of prices in the supermarket than the woman". The first was pronounced in the title of a report by Veja (2016) on the first lady, Marcela Temer and the second by the President, Michel Temer, in 2017. For this purpose, we will use post-feminist studies (Butler, 2008), Discourse Analysis (Maingueneau, 2012) and dialogism (Bakhtin, 1992) as a theoretical basis in order to understand how the conditions of production and reception become inseparable to the production of the meaning. Thus, it is intended to identify the strategies launched on women in the endorsement of hegemonic discourses, to be reduced to an essentialist position, playing a role of being vicarious in an order favorable to male domination. |
