Descripción
Sumario:The study aim to know the oppressions, inequalities andresistance, from the intersection of gender, race, ethnicity, class, generation, sexuality and territory. Young men and women attended from two quilombola communities, located in the rural area of Garanhuns/PE and young people from urban peripherical areaof the city.In this article we will address some situations in which prejudice and racial discrimination produce effects on the experiences of young people. The research was built in three stages. Initially, we carried out participant observation in the communities and in a school in the outskirts. The second stage involved workshops with young people from both territories. And third, semi-structured interviews. The material was analyzed from the perspective of the intersectionality of social markers. Theracial oppressions experienced by young people from both territories are expressed in prejudice and discrimination due to skin color, hair type, and sometimes in a disguised manner.
