| Summary: | The present work consists of a qualitative bibliographical review that aims to answer the problem-question: “how was the judgment of the Nazis for the crimes committed during the Third Reich?”. For this, texts indexed by peers in Google Scholar, and books by specialized authors, Brazilian and foreign, were searched. During the results, we will see that the Nazis established eugenic laws and programs in Germany, such as the Sterilization Law and the Aktion T4, in addition to countless violence against the Jewish population, of physical, economic, psychological orders, in addition to the numerous war crimes against peaceful countries and their civilian populations. It is concluded that the Nuremberg Tribunal, despite being a positive initiative for exposing the Nazi horrors, was also based on a desire for revenge, and that the subsequent “denazification” campaign raised by the Allies in German territory after the fall of the Reich it was considered a “fiasco”, for hindering the development of the country that was in an economic and social stagnation. |
