| Sumario: | The text aims to study some transformations that have occurred in Brazilian Environmental Law with the support of the contextualization of the works of Ulrich Beck, Risk society: towards another modernity (1986) and Klaus Schwab, The fourth industrial revolution (2016). It is intended to carry out the survey of instruments and methods of environmental protection that have been projected from the perspective of risks of industrial society and in light of physical and digital technologies. This approach outlines the necessary evolution of legal (and non-legal) instruments to address current socio-environmental issues (risks, scarcity, and technologies) with a view to sustainability. The aim is to demonstrate the space for interfacing Environmental Law and technologies in order to achieve environmental balance and social development. The deductive methodology was used, starting from general premises to specific ones. The techniques used were a bibliographical survey and normative acts. |
