| Sumario: | Using bibliographical and documental research, it describes and analyses the process of elaboration of the Municipal Educational Plan of the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, in accordance with the National Education Plan and its subsequent evaluation and monitoring. The elaboration process showed the problems of the educational system from the city, allowing a resonance of the difficulties that the educators have in the daily work of teaching, pointing out the innumerable challenges for the construction of a quality education, an inclusive one, that, often, the numbers masks. It emphasizes social mobilization as a possibility of materialization of the plan. It finishes pointing out the challenges for the valorisation of the teaching career from the process of monitoring and evaluation. |
