| Sumario: | The current work analyze the program Acquisition of MaterialConstruction (Programa Aquisição de Material de Construção). Thisprogram is one option of individual credit line with resources fromGovernement Severance Indemnity Fund for Employees (FGTS),managed by Caixa Econômica Federal. It emphases its efficiency relatedto the improvement of habitation quality and grants of lower classpopulation in Brazil. This work also covers the grade of satisfaction ofthe final customer. The themes complexity and specificity led to an analyzis by sample. Herein we present 12 analyzes of constructions included in the quoted program, in a stepwise approach from the initial demand of funding, conception of construction, processes of construction/remodeling and satisfaction of customers. We also succinctly discuss the brazilin process of habitation provisioningdedicately to lower class population from late 19th century to nowadays, stressing processes of self-build houses, as cases exposed here. Finally, this work propose a critical reflection to all technicians involvedin formal production of spaces, mainly architects. We must consider aneffective participation of the final customer in the process of productionof habitations, mainly the almost never-listened lower class populationin Brazil, in opposition of a stereotyped approach of behaviors and preestablished patterns. The same space might not attend all needsaccordingly. |
