| Sumario: | This article presents the practice of a workshop, which used the Comic Stories textual genre. It discusses the importance of using the Comic Stories textual genre as way of raising students' awareness on further developing their reading levels. We conducted qualitative and participant-type research as a tool for information collection: observation and semi-structured interview. As for data analysis, we adopted content analysis technique. Results proved that when Comic Stories are used as a facilitating tool in teaching and learning process, it not only contributes to students' development, but also fosters their creativity, reading and writing. |
