| Sumario: | Airports are important for tourism, because the tourist experience of many passengers starts with them, and they are the tourist's first contact with the destination. Intending to adapt Brazilian airports to international standards, motivated by the mega-events that would take place in the national territory in 2014 and 2016, the World Cup and the Olympic Games, respectively, in 2011 the Brazilian government began the process of granting airports, forming public-private partnerships – initially – in order to manage Brazilian airports. From this milestone, Brazilian airports have gone through several transformations in terms of physical infrastructure, organizational culture, customer service and dissemination of Brazilian tourist attractions. The objective of this work was to carry out a systematic review of the evolution of research on Airport Concessions in Brazil and Tourism, in order to understand the methodological approaches used by the authors, main results, as well as the contributions generated. As a result, it was possible to observe that there is a lack of more studies on the subject, given its relevance and complexity. It can be inferred that studies on airport concessions in Brazil, for the most part, use bibliographical and documental research and analysis of government statistical data. |
