| Resumo: | This article aims to highlight the mathematical contributions of Sofia Kovalevskaia in a historical-scientific context, where intellectual and dialogical life transcended remarkably. The relationship between gender and Mathematics is analyzed in terms of a century distinguished by social and cultural changes, to which a guild of science professionals and academics responded, within which women had a significant participation in methodological, technical and experimental decision-making. The research is presented in three sections; complexity theory is contextualized, then the importance of nihilism is explained, and finally everything lead us to make visible the achievements and contributions of Sofía in Mathematics. |
