Sumario:CrossFit is called a high intensity physical practice, which includes strength and endurance exercises. To enhance the benefits of this modality, adequate dietary follow-up is necessary. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of an individualized diet on the anthropometric status of CrossFit athletes. This is a clinical trial, conducted in a CrossFit training center in the municipality of Dourados-MS, in which four athletes (2 female and 2 male) participated who were submitted to anthropometric evaluation and evaluation of food intake through the 24-hour food record, before and after nutritional intervention. After 30 days of nutritional intervention, there was an increase in the average intake of calories (2760±428 kcal/day), carbohydrate intake (4.8±0.22 g/kg/day), adequacy of the protein ingested (1.44±0.04g/kg/day) and there was a decrease in lipid intake (0.81± 0.04g/kg/day). In the anthropometric evaluation, variations were observed in all parameters, however significant decreases (p<0.05) were observed for weight, BMI, trunk circumference, abdominal circumference and circumference of the left and right arm relaxed. Thus, this study reinforces the importance of dietary planning and adequate nutritional guidance for improvement in the body composition of CrossFit athletes.
