Resumo:In this article, the objective is to analyze how Cassandra Rios worked the topic of homosexuality in her novels, as well as how the taboos about forbidden sexualities were questioned by the writer through the characters of her novels. The above was given in the context of the Military Dictatorship and conservative morality in Brazil. In this research was using a qualitative methodology, through different data sources and works by Rios, we carried out an analysis of how addressing other ways of living the sexuality led to Rios' narrative prohibition. This reflection begins with the censorship of books that regards sex as a transgressive subject, which contributes to broadening the understanding of literature as an-axis of questioning with regard to others sexualities.
