The results point that the gestational process under the optics of the women in puerperium is full of physical changes, emotional alterations with future concerns about the baby, oscillations in the mood and alterations in the familiar dynamics. The experience of the process of childbirth and birth reflect positive and negative feelings, which are faced in different ways. The women in puerperium can use internal and external resources to surpass the changes and to prevent the crises.
