Descrição
Resumo:This paper discusses the potency of the ethical-political dimension of the aesthetics of existence in Michel Foucault and Paul B. Preciado, with a view to the production of new sexual grammars. To this end, (1) we first articulate the tensions Foucault undertook in the last years of his life, mobilizing some of the displacements the philosopher made throughout his trajectory until his more attentive work with ethics and the practices of freedom. Then, (2) the efficacy of a morality turned to ethics is mobilized, (a) highlighting the undoubted importance of criticism for the propulsion of the transformation of our existence; (b) as well as the ethical-political dimension of the care of the self and the techniques and arts of living as parts of an aesthetics of existence. Finally, (3) understanding that these ethical actions aim for plural ways of living, and, also, do not perspective the annulment of governments, we discuss Paul B. Preciado's proposal regarding contrasexuality is discussed.
