Descripción
Sumario:Economic globalization, as a philosophy of the new world order, and the modification of the variables that compose the new system concerning cooperative entities, have forced the revision of needs, modes and historical attitudes of such organizations, as well as the application of new management styles for the development of their activities. This article presents a decision making support model for dealing with corrective actions in an electricity cooperative and proposes a methodology for the assignment of priorities to alternative projects according to resource constraints. The article¿s theoretical framework is the theory of multicriteria decision making support and, in particular, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). A link is established between the use of that theory and ISO 9000 principles, as well as total quality management characteristics.
