| Sumario: | The present paper discusses the results of a research whose objective was to analyze the ageism in third age groups. First was applied the Ageism Survey with 141, and latter a survey made by the own researcher. Respondents reported lower frequencies to ageism situations in two phases. Therefore, it is necessary investments in media, in public policies and research to face this phenomenon, wherever it occurs and how it occurs, and to guaranty of human rights for elderly. |
