Descripción
Sumario:In the work, the author is able to reinforce the idea that the development of Lukács's thought occurs from the historical-social events in which he lives and that is why at the beginning, when young, his writings are characterized as idealistic and, later, with their intellectual maturity, become more materialistic. It was this same historical-social process that brought his dialectic into penalties. José Paulo Netto writes the text of the book's presentation and says the following: “Lukács' conception of dialectics and totality has always lacked [...] historical supports (socio-material) so that the mediation category could be fully saturated with concreteness. , which made [...] the very category of concrete totality vulnerable ”(p. 21).
