| Resumo: | This article refers to a Master's Research in progress and aims to identify the contributions of the National Pact for Literacy in the Right Age (PNAIC) in the continuing education of teachers in public schools in Várzea Grande. With a qualitative approach, the study analyzed the official documents, Cadernos de Formação, personal files and testimonies of protagonists who effectively participated in the training actions of the PNAIC in the municipal school system. The data indicate that the training actions made it possible to identify the Program's contributions to the continued training of teachers who work in the Initial Years, providing opportunities for sharing experiences and the personal and professional growth of course participants. The analyzes show that in addition to demanding commitment from the student, the contents of the areas of Language / Literacy and Mathematical Literacy had positive impacts on the way of teaching, indicating that different methodologies were used, with indications of follow-up and monitoring of the activities developed in the classroom. |
