Descripción
Sumario:this article proposes a space regionalization of Tocantins State (Brazil), by means of specifically economic criteria and it also intends to contribute to the analysis and theoretical considerations for sectorial politics, as well as to create resources to support the identification of new centralities in the State. This regionalization is built by the identification of the economic centers using the Outsourcing Services Index and performed by the Gravitational Model (ISARD, 1962). Results showed a new space dimension for Tocantins, identifying 9 economic centers and their areas of influence.
