Sumario:This article aims to analyze the type of individual and individuality that have been produced in the contemporary world, based on the reflections on historical time elaborated by the historians Reinhart Koselleck and François Hartog. In addition, it seeks to evaluate the implications of this type of individualization for the effectiveness of social movements, through the sociological contributions of Anthony Giddens, Zygmunt Bauman and Richard Sennett, as well as the philosophical contribution of Gilles Lipovetsky.
