Descrição
Resumo:The extension program project "The Modern Architecture in Ceará - The Campus do Pici" aims at studying the influence of modern architecture on the city of Fortaleza, more precisely on the "Campus do Pici" of the Federal University of Ceará (Universidade Federal do Ceará - UFC). For the research we have used the architectural inventory methods developed by the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Instituto do Patrimônio Artístico Nacional – IPHAN); the vectorization of the original plants of the buildings was made by means of Autocad. The analyzed buildings are the UFC Central Library (Biblioteca Central da UFC), the UFC Science and Technology Library (Biblioteca de Ciências e Tecnologia – BCT), the UFC Data Processing Center (Núcleo de Processamento de Dados – NPD), the UFC Secretary for Information Technology (Secretaria de Tecnologia da Informação – STI), the University Canteen (Restaurante Universitário) and the building of the Zoote chnology Department (Departamento de Zootecnia). The work was funded by the College of Extended Studies (Pró-Reitoria de Extensão da UFC) and was carried at the Atelier of Cultural Heritage (Atelier de Patrimônio Cultural – APC) at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the UFC. This research was conducted by the Study Group on Modern Architecture in Ceará, Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the UFC, and was coordinated by professors Ramiro Jucá Clovis Neto and Margaret Julia Andrade Salles
