Sumario:Neuroeducation, as an evaluative tool, dialogues with the trivet: Neuroscience, Education and Psychology. It has as a focus, colecting data on the behavior and cognitive aspects of the individual. The experience related in this article aimed to develop, based on neuroscience, a musical diagnostic evaluation for an adult musician that express physical and emotional discomfort upon hearing the song “Coração de Estudante” by Milton Nascimento. From the results of the evaluation, we promoted a discussion concerning the importance of neuroscience in the docent musical formation and in the evaluative process in general. The evaluation was elaborated on a qualitative approach, through a structured interview with objective and subjective questions. It was applied in the month of January of 2020. The results indicated that the volunteer showed physical and emocional symptoms that he considered to be negative, connected to melodic elements from the song “Coração de Estudante” by Milton Nascimento. However, he didn’t presented the same symptoms regarding the lyrics and rhythm of the song. The discussion and conclusion offer suggested measures for the evaluative musical processes based on neuroeducation for the deepening of the docent practice.
