| Resumo: | The overweight and obesity are due to environmental explanations, since genetic changes are not as relevant as the changes in living habits over time. The unbalanced diet, low in fiber and inactivity are the most mentioned factors as determinants of the sudden rise in obesity among populations. The objective of the survey is to check the interference of physical exercise and nutrition in adults with abdominal obesity. The search is known as literature and is bounded on books, Internet, printed online addressing issues relevant to the exercise, food and abdominal obesity. Of the 15 studies found, 08 showed the interference of food and eating habits incorrect in the development of abdominal adiposity. In 07 of the studies were highlighted significant contributions when incorporated into the routine of the adults in question, as well as improvement in cardiorespiratory fitness, reductions in the amounts of total body fat and visceral, in addition to increased muscle mass. Conclusion: It was concluded that the practice of physical exercises related to food, promote satisfactory reduction in the circumference of waist. |
