Descripción
Sumario:Pre-clinical breast lesions have been more diagnosed in the last three decades due to the improvement of image diagnosis, and, more recently, with the introduction of core-biopsy. The authors present the study of 197 cases of breast core-biopsies guided by ultrasound and mammography, with emphasis on the diagnostic correlation between the images and histopathology. Carcinomas have been diagnosed in 40 cases. Significant agreement (p <0,001) has been observed between the BIRADS™ classification and the histological diagnoses.
