Summary:The present article examines the perspective of necropolitics in the  pandemic of Covid-19 in the State of Ceará. Its purpose is to identify the correlation in public policy choices and the ultimate consequences on the low income population. The methodology used was qualitative, with an exploratory nature, by means of the analytical method combined with the deductive method, this through a pure typology, a documental research based on the legislations and publications available at CAPES Portal and other sources. Therefore, from the presentation of the actions taken by the State Executive Power will remain the reflection and presentation of the context and paradox of the relationship between science and capitalismo, in this way, the decision of the State, through its public policies, are directly responsible for the life and death of the collectivity that depends on their interventions.
