Resumo:This article aims to analyze the precariousness of work and moral harassment among social workers who work at IFES’s4 in Pará. It is based on empirical research carried out with 20 professionals who work in the aforementioned socio-occupational spaces, as well as reflections and studies carried out in Study and Research Group- Gep-TESA5 / PPGSS/UFPA, in addition to bibliographical research. It was based on Marxist theory and Marx’s method, aiming to unveil the multiple determinations of the object of study. The results indicate that the management models adopted by IFES’s are referenced by the abuse of power, precarious working conditions expressed by the intensification of work, prolonged working hours, demands for exacerbated productivity targets, weakening of professional autonomy, among others, have caused the configuration of the occurrence of moral harassment.
