| Sumario: | In this article we intend to explore the connection between racialization and the theory of history from a particular angle: the debate about historical time. To this end, we intend to understand historiography not only as an instrument for coding “other” pasts (colonialism and racism) and synchronization, but as embedded in the “place” historically and relationally occupied by whiteness. Therefore, we understand that critical studies of whiteness provide an important tool for better understanding both the processes of disciplinaryization of History and indisciplinary practices, since “indisciplinary” without racializing means in practice emptying the potential of this concept. |
