Resumo:The growth of the internet and the emergence of new educational technologies such as mobile devices, among others, have expanded the boundaries of the classroom, and produced virtual environments aimed to public education. The increased interactivity through technology has brought forth access ways that has made Distance Education (DE) available to students. The aim of this work is to discuss the progress of the use of technological networks in computers and/or mobile devices used in distance education. As a result, changes of information in virtual environments have proved o to be a valuable asset to the teaching-learning process.
