Descripción
Sumario:Departing from field experiments carried out in different regions of the Yanomami Indigenous Land, the article presents an exploratory approach to the relationship between adult and child among the Yanomami. The rich literature on the constitution of the person and about Yanomami sociality guides the analysis of scenes that seek to highlight different types of symbolic orientation, especially those considering relations between mothers and their sons and daughters. These observations are placed within a unique framework of research carried out in partnership between indigenous and non-indigenous researchers, Yanomami and napëpë.
