| Sumario: | Water resources of the south area of the valley of Mexico had a major impact on the country's earliest industries which were located in this vast region bounded naturally by the surrounding mountains, this area was one of the main protagonists along with some parts of the Puebla's state touch of industrialization so longed for our country. Many companies both paper factories as those used for the production of textiles found in this region sufficient quantity of water for their production processes so demanding. This natural environment was the suitable place for Paper Factory Peña Pobre, to settle. This paper producing factory under the direction of the Lenz family, has its origins in 1924 until the latter half of the twentieth century when it was forced changing their productive activities by those of fun and recreation. It was a leader in the production of paper its various products related to this particular type of consumer goods, had an impact on local and national economies that make this factory one of the leading companies of its kind in our nation. That is why knowing the various strategies developed by this paper producing factory to get provided of different resources, including aquifers, and develop its various production processes is essential, because, these strategies are a reference regarding hydraulic use and development of the vital liquid in papermaking processes and because Peña Pobre Factory was always at the technological forefront in regard to paper production in the south of the valley of Mexico. |
