| Resumo: | This study is about urban explorers and their historical experiences with regard to abandoned factories from the Zona do Porto in the city of Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is a part of a research about the developedphenomenological relations between subjects from different groups and the industrial heritage, comprising distinct socioeconomic contexts. The objective for this study was to acknowledge the different versions of thathistorical patrimony and identify possible ways for its preservation. The following methodology was used: dialectic analysis, and the combination of visual and oral narratives. It was concluded that these historical oldbuildings, on their condition of heritage ruins, act as places for breathing, creativity and resignification, and also demonstrate a close relation with artistic production and counterculture. |
