Descripción
Sumario:This study aims to identify the innovative activities developed at the Technological Center of Agreste (CTA), understanding it is relevance for the development of the Local Manufacturing Arrangement in Caruaru (PE). Therefore, this research was based on the concepts of APL and the logic of Capitals. In the methodological stage, a content analysis was carried out from semi structured interviews conducted with two leaderships that are inserted in the decision-making body of the CTA. The analysis was carried out from four categories of Capitals, which are: intellectual capital, social capital, physical capital and natural capital. From this categorization we study the role of CTA in the context of APL of confection through the discourses of these individuals. The results indicate that despite having an important role in the development of APL the CTA still has a timid effect in relation to the innovation of the companies of the region.
