Abstract Ricœur mentions several times that Gabriel Marcel, along with Jean Nabert and Edmund Husserl, was undoubtedly one of his great masters. Marcel was a seminal and founding reference, as well as a matricial and lasting influence that intermittently emerges, explicit or implicitly, in the ";long way"; of ricœur´s thought.
