| Sumario: | This study deals with the port-city relationship, especially the identification of the analytical perspectives adopted in the literature to approach the theme. Understanding and harmonizing the interactions between the port and the city should enable them both to fulfill their role: the port, with its transport focus, collaborating with global supply chains; and the city as a space where relationships and social activities take place. This study allowed to identify, from the literature review, the main perspectives adopted in the studies and research carried out on the port-city relationship: economic; infrastructure of access, urbanity, environment, historical, social, political, management, governance and planning. |
