| Sumario: | This paper aims to discuss the right to development as a perspective for the effective universalization of human rights. In order to do that, it is necessary to analyze the right to development and the human rights as seen in the Federal Constitution of 1988 and in international law. This approach is justified by both the fact that the right to development and the human rights are inseparable, inalienable and, thus, fundamental for a dignified and healthy life. The topic has been approached with the use of the deductive method of scientific and theoretical investigation, combined with bibliographical and documentary research in works addressing the theme. It is concluded that only with the effective guarantee of the right to development as a perspective for the universalization of human rights will it be possible to implement the minimum vital conditions for the achievement of human dignity. |
