Descripción
Sumario:This essay outlines a theoretical and conceptual framework to propose a counter-canon that allows us to situate some authors and works that document the possibility of identifying a maritime port chronotope in Chilean literature. This view is situated in the paradigm of the radical Enlightenment, articulated from a transoceanic and geophilosophical perspective of urban-port locations. An analytical battery is developed to address the contexts of production of the works, defining genealogies and critical cartographies from a geo-cultural perspective. From this, a corpus of works is delimited to give concrete consistency to the proposal of a counter-canonical maritime-port chronotope in the first half of the twentieth century.
