| Sumario: | This study discusses the advances and obstacles in the conceptual delimitation of decent work, with an emphasis on its direct interface with informality, in an interdisciplinary way, from the perspective of Law, Sociology, Psychology and Economics. However, there is a general consensus in the literature that informality is the attribute closest to precariousness and labor vulnerability, and an obstacle to the promotion and maintenance of quality jobs, that is, decent jobs. In the quest to choose objective and measurable criteria and targets for labor regulation, three aspects are crucial and objectively measurable: formal registration of occupation, fair and adequate remuneration and social security. |
