The order of delivery was randomized and the permanence with each cube was 40 seconds. In the end, the child was asked to elaborate games with the cubes.Results: The motor actions identified were: Remove the cube, stir the cube, reach (Uni and bimanual), approximate the cube of the eyes, hit with the cube, hit the cube, slide hands/fingers, rotate the cube, throw the cube upwards, support the cube on one of the edges, close your eyes to the cube, hold the cube with just one hand, touch the face in the cube. Some jokes were common in both groups and the predominant play, which involved all the cubes, was to stack them. Conclusion: Fourteen manipulative actions were described. It is suggested the creation of toys and games that use colors and contrasts.Objetivo: identificar e descrever as ações manipulativas e as brincadeiras criadas pelas crianças com e sem baixa visão em idade escolar, durante o brincar com cubos de diferentes estímulos.Métodos: participaram sete crianças com e sem baixa visão (8,8 anos±1,02), as mesmas foram filmadas durante o brincar com seis cubos: transparente, preto, alto contraste, luminoso, auditivo e estímulo tátil. A ordem da entrega foi randomizada e a permanência com cada cubo foi de 40 segundos (intervalo de 10 segundos entre eles). Ao final, foi solicitado para a criança elaborar brincadeiras com os cubos.Resultados: As ações motoras identificadas foram: afastar o cubo, agitar o cubo, alcance (uni e bimanual), aproximar o cubo dos olhos, bater com o cubo, bater no cubo, deslizar mãos/dedos, girar o cubo, jogar o cubo para cima, apoiar o cubo em uma das arestas, aproximar os olhos ao cubo, segurar o cubo com apenas uma mão, encostar o rosto no cubo.
