Sumario:The current reality of the education system in Timor-Leste should be understood in a general way with a more interdisciplinary reflection and in this way can produce a more solid educational and pedagogical discourse within the framework of interrelationship of knowledge and collective practices that can create common identities and values and solidarity actions among people of different cultures. Dialogical relations must be established between the State and ordinary citizens in the production and dissemination of knowledge. In addition, this article focuses on education in society as part of a personal and collective process. It seeks to describe the trajectory of Timor-Leste's education, and above all, the culture and educational practices that develop in education , at the same time, to approach the concept called “timorizar of Timorese” in which it will be reinforced by the vision “matenek lokal - local knowledge” around the definition “Timoriana education”.
