| Sumario: | There are techniques that provide the possibility of athletes improve their performance, among these we can observe the taping in order that their applicability and can be used in any region of the body. Objective: To evaluate the effect of the use of functional elastic bandage on the maximum grip strength in table tennis players. Methodology: intervention study, longitudinal, prospective, comparative, quantitative. Composed randomly three groups of athletes, the bandage intervention group Y (Giby) (N = 15), bandage intervention I (GIBI) (N = 15) and control (CG) (N = 15) were assessed before and immediately after a single intervention. The maximum grip strength was measured by dynamometer. Result: Giby and GIBI presented gain FMPP, but was not statistically significant between the techniques analyzed considering p |
