Sumario:Objective: To elaborate a quantitative methodological reference that can be used as support for poultry industrial companies in the evaluation of its environmental performance comprehensively. Methodology: This is a quantitative, descriptive and referential study, subdivided into three methodological stages, being: deepening of environmental performance evaluation theory, mapping of the productive process and construction of the methodological framework and application in the industry. Expected results: It is expected with the framework developed a better use of the resources employed. Managerial implications: This study aids auxiliary in decision making management for better performance and environmental efficiency in the poultry industry. Originality: This theme related to the poultry industry is still scarce in the literature, even in view of the economic importance of this national sector, the growing demand for protein of animal origin as well as the need for environmental protection according to sustainable development objectives present on the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations (UN).
