| Sumario: | The mobile ecosystem forms part of multiplatform convergence processes at journalistic organizations. Among the wide array of mobile devices, smartphones and tablets are central to journalistic production and the consumption of news while on the move. This article sets off from this framework in order to discuss and try to understand the phenomenon of mobile journalism. We discuss the reconfigurations and socio-technical implications from theoretical frame of reference on mobility and convergence on the theme and input from empirical objects which represent the phenomenon and how journalists are using mobile technologies, apps and accessories to handle the investigation process, production and distribution of content. |
